Our Verdict
Currency Converter Bear is the clearly superior choice for merchants aiming to expand their international sales and provide a seamless shopping experience for customers in different countries. Its high rating, numerous reviews, Shopify Markets integration, and automatic currency switching make it a reliable and user-friendly option. BL Country Blocker, with its lack of reviews and unclear functionality, poses a significant risk.
However, BL Country Blocker might be considered only if a merchant has a very specific and critical need to block customers from certain countries, and has thoroughly investigated and tested the app despite the absence of reviews. Otherwise, Currency Converter Bear is the recommended solution for most Shopify merchants in 2026.
