BL Size Chart Button vs DPO Dynamic Product Optionsfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between BL Size Chart Button and DPO Dynamic Product Options face a clear dilemma. BL Size Chart Button focuses narrowly on solving size-related uncertainties in apparel shopping by providing a customizable button and popup for size charts. Its core strength is in reducing returns due to incorrect sizing. DPO Dynamic Product Options, on the other hand, boasts a strong reputation and numerous positive reviews, suggesting broad applicability and a more robust feature set related to product variants, although the specifics aren't detailed in the provided information beyond it sharing the 'Product variants' category. The fundamental difference lies in their purpose. BL Size Chart Button tackles a specific pain point within the apparel industry – the frustration of incorrect sizing. It offers functionalities like customizable button placement, multiple size chart formats, and measuring instructions. DPO Dynamic Product Options, based on its name and category association, appears to provide a broader set of features for customizing and managing product variations, potentially including color, material, or other attributes. Without more detailed feature lists, it's difficult to fully determine the extent of their overlap or competitive positioning beyond the 'Product variants' category, but given the massive disparity in reviews, it's likely DPO offers many more capabilities, even if some overlap with size-chart needs.

Our Verdict
For merchants specifically struggling with sizing issues in apparel, BL Size Chart Button *could* be a worthwhile experiment, especially if it remains a free or very low-cost option, *assuming* its claims of ease of use and effective return reduction are accurate. However, the complete lack of reviews raises significant concerns about its functionality and reliability.
DPO Dynamic Product Options, with its stellar rating and significant review count, presents a far less risky option, particularly for merchants needing comprehensive product variant management. While its specific size chart capabilities aren't explicitly detailed, it's likely to offer at least basic variant functionality and the positive user feedback suggests a reliable and effective solution. Given the available data, recommending DPO Dynamic Product Options appears significantly more prudent, unless very specific, niche sizing chart formatting is required by the merchant.
