Blankwall ‑ Augmented Reality vs TryOnMe Glasses Virtual Try Onfor Shopify (2026)
Blankwall ‑ Augmented Reality and TryOnMe Glasses Virtual Try On both leverage augmented reality for e-commerce, but cater to drastically different product categories. Blankwall focuses on enabling AR previews for artwork catalogs, offering an automated 3D model generation process to simplify integration for merchants with large inventories. Its key strength lies in the ability to handle extensive art catalogs without manual, per-product setup, making it suitable for businesses selling prints, paintings, and other wall decor. Blankwall touts color-accurate and true-to-scale visualizations, crucial for art purchasing decisions. Our Verdict
The choice between Blankwall and TryOnMe Glasses Virtual Try On is dictated by the product category. If you sell art, Blankwall is the clear winner, offering automated 3D model generation and catalog-wide AR support. If you sell glasses, TryOnMe is the right choice. While TryOnMe has a slightly higher rating, the low number of reviews compared to Blankwall's makes the ratings difficult to compare. For businesses selling both art and glasses or other product categories, neither app provides complete coverage; a different or combined solution would be needed.

Based on its description, Blankwall is specifically designed for art catalogs. It is unlikely to function optimally or even at all for other product types.

The app's name and description strongly suggest it is exclusively for eyewear. It would likely not be suitable for other accessories.

Which app offers better AR accuracy?
Blankwall emphasizes color-accurate and true-to-scale 3D models, which is essential for art. The accuracy of TryOnMe's virtual try-on is not explicitly stated but vital for customer satisfaction with eyewear sales.
Given low review count, how to decide which app is better?
With such low review counts, prioritizing alignment with your product category is crucial. Consider trialing both apps, if possible, before making a long-term commitment to evaluate usability and accuracy for your specific products and catalog size. Also, consider contacting the developers with questions to understand their roadmap, customer support and longer term commitment to the app.
