Blaze Country Redirect vs LIHI Short Linksfor Shopify (2026)
Blaze Country Redirect and LIHI Short Links are both listed under the 'Geolocation' category on Shopify, but they address fundamentally different needs for Shopify merchants. Blaze Country Redirect focuses on providing a localized shopping experience based on a visitor's geographic location. It aims to automatically redirect customers to the correct Shopify Market, currency, and language based on their GeoIP, offering a seamless and personalized shopping journey. This involves features such as automatic redirects, country/currency/language selectors, and compatibility with Shopify Markets. LIHI Short Links, on the other hand, is a marketing tool designed to shorten long URLs for easier sharing and tracking. Its core value lies in enabling A/B testing of marketing campaigns and providing insights through click tracking. The application is designed for marketers needing to optimize promotional efforts and manage online links effectively. Unlike Blaze Country Redirect, it does not interact directly with the user's geolocation for localization purposes; instead, it helps in managing and tracking the performance of links disseminated through various marketing channels. Based on available information, it appears the categorization of LIHI Short Links under "Geolocation" is inaccurate or potentially related to how location is used to track click sources (an unmentioned feature). While not explicitly listed in the provided data, it's possible LIHI Short Links uses geolocation for analytics purposes. However, it does not perform the primary function of location-based redirection or localization, as does Blaze Country Redirect.
