Blockly Fraud Filter vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
Blockly Fraud Filter and Zigpoll Customer Surveys, while both categorized under 'Operations' in the Shopify App Store, serve fundamentally different purposes for merchants. Blockly Fraud Filter is a security-focused app designed to help merchants mitigate fraudulent orders by creating custom rules to identify and potentially cancel suspicious transactions. Its strength lies in its rule-based filtering and fraud prevention capabilities, particularly beneficial for merchants facing chargeback issues. Zigpoll Customer Surveys, on the other hand, is a customer feedback and analytics tool that enables merchants to gather insights through various survey types, including post-purchase, pre-purchase, and NPS surveys, delivered via on-site interactions, email, or SMS. The primary difference lies in their objective. Blockly focuses on protecting revenue by preventing losses from fraud, whereas Zigpoll focuses on increasing revenue by improving customer experience and optimizing marketing spend based on customer feedback. Zigpoll also offers AI analytics and integration with marketing stacks, enhancing its ability to provide actionable insights from collected data. The ease of use is likely similar for both given the 'no-code setup' claim in Zigpoll's description and the emphasis on straightforward rules in Blockly's description, although this is speculative based on the available information.

Our Verdict
The choice between Blockly Fraud Filter and Zigpoll Customer Surveys depends heavily on the merchant's primary needs. If a merchant is experiencing a high volume of fraudulent orders and chargebacks, Blockly Fraud Filter is the more suitable option, providing tools to proactively prevent fraud. However, if a merchant is primarily focused on understanding customer preferences, improving customer satisfaction, and optimizing their marketing efforts, Zigpoll Customer Surveys is the better choice.
Given the low number of reviews for Blockly Fraud Filter, it may be a newer app or cater to a smaller niche. Merchants considering Blockly should carefully evaluate its features and potentially contact the developer for more information. Zigpoll's higher review count suggests a more established user base and a potentially more reliable solution for customer surveys and analytics.
