Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with website security, managing bot traffic, and optimizing the user experience based on location through redirection, Blokr Country Redirect & Block *could* be considered. However, the lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating in 2026 raises significant concerns. Merchants should proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly investigate before committing. Currency Converter Bear, with its strong rating and numerous positive reviews, is the clear choice for merchants focused on expanding internationally and providing a seamless shopping experience for global customers. Its automatic currency conversion and Shopify Markets integration make it ideal for businesses prioritizing international sales and customer satisfaction. Given the current data, Currency Converter Bear is the significantly safer and more established option.
In summary, if security and traffic control are paramount and the merchant is willing to take a risk with a potentially unproven app, Blokr might be explored further. However, for most merchants, and particularly those focused on international sales, Currency Converter Bear is the recommended solution.
