Blox: Fraud Filter & Blacklist vs Subunofor Shopify (2026)
Blox: Fraud Filter & Blacklist and Subuno are both Shopify apps designed to prevent fraud, each boasting a perfect 5/5 rating. However, they differ significantly in approach and scope. Blox leverages a community-driven blacklist, offering shared protection based on flags raised by other stores. This makes it particularly appealing to merchants who value collective security and a hands-off approach to fraud detection, especially in a dynamic fraud landscape of 2026. Subuno, on the other hand, is a rules-based platform offering customizable and automated order screening. It's aimed at merchants who desire greater control and customization over their fraud prevention strategies. Subuno provides a comprehensive toolkit for fraud detection, including 15+ manual review tools and integrated third-party data analytics. It allows merchants to define specific rules for flagging, holding, or rejecting suspicious orders. Blox emphasizes simplicity, allowing merchants to easily block customers and automatically group those with multiple accounts. The limited number of reviews for Blox suggests it might be a newer or less widely adopted solution than Subuno, though both claim to prevent fraud and chargebacks. The key difference is Blox utilizes shared protection, while Subuno offers rules-based, customizable control.
