BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty vs CartSaver: Persistent Cartfor Shopify (2026)
BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty and CartSaver: Persistent Cart, while both aiming to improve customer retention, operate in vastly different areas of the customer journey. BLOY focuses on long-term loyalty building through points, rewards, VIP tiers, and referral programs, targeting merchants looking to cultivate repeat business. In contrast, CartSaver addresses immediate cart abandonment issues by ensuring carts are saved and synced across devices, appealing to merchants concerned about lost sales due to customers switching devices or closing their browser before completing a purchase. BLOY is well-established with a strong user base and positive reviews, whereas CartSaver is a new entrant with no user feedback yet, presenting a riskier choice despite potentially valuable functionality. The optimal choice depends on whether the merchant prioritizes proactive loyalty initiatives or reactive cart recovery.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing building a comprehensive loyalty program with points, rewards, and VIP tiers, BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty is the clear choice. Its strong rating and established user base provide confidence in its functionality and support. However, for merchants specifically struggling with high cart abandonment rates due to users switching devices or losing their carts, CartSaver: Persistent Cart offers a targeted solution. While CartSaver lacks reviews, its focus on a specific problem may make it worthwhile for merchants willing to take a risk on a newer app. Ultimately, BLOY is the safer and more comprehensive option for long-term loyalty, while CartSaver is a focused solution for immediate cart recovery. If budget is a concern, starting with CartSaver may provide a quick win and then adding BLOY later would be a viable strategy.
