BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty vs Rivo: Loyalty Program, Rewardsfor Shopify (2026)
Both BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty and Rivo: Loyalty Program, Rewards are strong contenders in the Shopify loyalty and rewards app space, aiming to increase customer retention and repeat purchases. BLOY emphasizes building a scalable loyalty program with points, rewards, VIP tiers, and referral rewards, offering 24/7 support. Their positioning centers around converting loyalty points into meaningful, redeemable rewards. Rivo, on the other hand, focuses on delivering a customizable platform specifically designed for fast-growing DTC brands, boasting weekly product updates, a focus on improving retention metrics, and instant integrations with popular marketing tools like Klaviyo and Gorgias. Rivo positions itself as a modern, continuously improving solution built with Shopify's latest technology. The founder's note emphasizes improvements over stagnant, overpriced competitors. A key difference lies in their target audience and customization focus. BLOY seems suitable for merchants seeking a comprehensive, supported solution with readily available features for various loyalty program aspects (points, VIP tiers, referrals). Rivo, with its developer toolkit and emphasis on metrics-driven results, appeals more to brands desiring deep customization and control over their loyalty program, especially those already integrated with a sophisticated marketing tech stack. The customer support models also vary, with BLOY emphasizing 24/7 support while Rivo prioritizes a 'world class live chat support' system.

Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the app descriptions, BLOY, with its focus on ease of use and 24/7 support, might be slightly easier to set up and use for merchants seeking a simple, comprehensive solution. Rivo, while aiming for usability, boasts a more customizable platform that may involve a slightly steeper learning curve for those less technically inclined.
Which app offers better value for money?
Without pricing information, it's impossible to determine which app offers better value. Both provide compelling features, but the 'better' value depends on individual needs and the extent to which the features are utilized. If a merchant needs deep customization, Rivo's developer toolkit will provide excellent value. If a merchant needs straightforward plug-and-play operation, BLOY will provide a lower TCO.
Which app is more suited for smaller businesses?
While both apps could potentially be used by smaller businesses, BLOY's straightforward feature set and emphasized ease of use make it a possibly better starting point for new or smaller Shopify stores that don't require extensive customization.
Does either app offer advanced analytics for loyalty program performance?
While BLOY doesn't explicitly mention detailed analytics, Rivo emphasizes a focus on improving 'actual retention metrics,' suggesting it offers more in-depth performance tracking and reporting capabilities. Further research into each app's dashboard and reporting features would be needed to confirm this.
Which app has better integrations?
Rivo clearly indicates strong integration capabilities, specifically mentioning Klaviyo, Gorgias, and Postscript. BLOY does not explicitly highlight specific integrations in its description, suggesting that Rivo might have a more robust integration ecosystem or a greater focus on integrating with popular marketing tools.
