BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty vs Super Payments Marketingfor Shopify (2026)
BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty and Super Payments Marketing are both Shopify apps operating in the customer loyalty space, but they address vastly different needs and target distinct segments of merchants. BLOY focuses on building comprehensive, feature-rich loyalty programs, offering points, rewards, VIP tiers, membership programs, and referral systems, all backed by 24/7 support. Its aim is to increase customer retention and lifetime value through incentivized engagement and repeat purchases. BLOY's high rating (5/5 from 267 reviews) suggests strong user satisfaction. Super Payments Marketing, on the other hand, is a much simpler app designed to promote Super Payments as a payment method within the Shopify store. It focuses on customizable messaging to highlight the availability of Super Payments and the cash rewards customers receive when using it. With a significantly lower rating (3.3/5 from only 2 reviews), it appears to be a less established app with potentially limited user experience. Its core value proposition lies in increasing the adoption of Super Payments as a preferred checkout option, thereby potentially benefiting both the merchant and Super Payments as a platform.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking to build a robust and multifaceted loyalty program with features like points, rewards, VIP tiers, and referral programs, BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty is the clear choice. Its high rating and numerous positive reviews suggest a well-developed and reliable solution. The 24/7 support also adds significant value. It caters to businesses ready to invest in a complete loyalty platform to drive long-term customer retention.
Super Payments Marketing is suitable only for merchants already using Super Payments as a payment method and wanting to actively promote it to their customers. Given its low rating and minimal reviews, merchants should carefully consider whether its limited functionality justifies its use. The value proposition is directly tied to the success and adoption of Super Payments itself. If a merchant isn't focused on driving Super Payments adoption, this app offers little to no value.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Super Payments Marketing is likely easier to set up and use due to its limited functionality, focusing solely on promoting Super Payments. BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty, with its broader feature set, would require more time and effort for initial setup and ongoing management.
Does either app integrate with other marketing tools?
The provided descriptions don't explicitly mention integrations with other marketing tools for either app. However, given BLOY's comprehensive nature, it's more likely to offer integration capabilities, though this requires further investigation.
What kind of ROI can I expect from each app?
The ROI from BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty is tied to increased customer retention, repeat purchases, and higher lifetime value. ROI from Super Payments Marketing depends on increasing the adoption of Super Payments as a payment method and the benefits associated with that adoption (e.g., potentially lower transaction fees, increased sales due to cash rewards). Evaluating the effectiveness of this app would depend on the Super Payments platform itself driving value.
Which app offers more customization options?
BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty offers significantly more customization options due to its multifaceted loyalty program features. Super Payments Marketing only offers customization related to messaging and visual themes promoting Super Payments.
Are there any hidden costs associated with either app?
The app descriptions don't mention hidden costs. However, merchants should always carefully review the pricing plans and terms of service for both apps to understand the complete cost structure, including potential transaction fees, usage limits, or add-on features.
