BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty vs Wishlisterfor Shopify (2026)
BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty and Wishlister are both Shopify apps targeting customer loyalty, but they approach the problem from vastly different angles. BLOY focuses on building comprehensive loyalty programs with points, rewards, VIP tiers, memberships, and referral programs to drive repeat purchases and increase customer lifetime value. Wishlister, on the other hand, provides a more basic wishlist functionality, enabling customers to organize and share products they are interested in purchasing later. BLOY seems designed for established stores looking to implement robust loyalty strategies, while Wishlister appears to be aimed at stores that simply want to offer wishlist capabilities as an added convenience. The significant differences in user ratings and review counts suggest a substantial disparity in user satisfaction and adoption rates. BLOY boasts a perfect 5/5 rating with 267 reviews, indicating strong user satisfaction and a well-received feature set. In contrast, Wishlister has a much lower rating of 2.5/5 with only 2 reviews, potentially indicating issues with functionality, user experience, or customer support. The 24/7 support offered with BLOY is a huge difference to Wishlister, given it's lack of ratings and reviews, it is a factor when considering the support given to users.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a comprehensive and feature-rich customer loyalty program with robust support, BLOY Rewards Program & Loyalty is the clear winner. Its high rating and extensive review count, coupled with its extensive feature set and 24/7 support, make it a solid choice for businesses serious about building customer loyalty. However, for merchants simply looking to add basic wishlist functionality to their store with minimal overhead, Wishlister could be considered, but the extremely low rating and review count should raise significant concerns about its reliability and user experience. Given the available data, BLOY is the superior choice for most Shopify merchants.
Common Questions
What are the key differences in features between BLOY and Wishlister?
BLOY offers a full-fledged loyalty program with points, rewards, VIP tiers, and referrals, while Wishlister solely focuses on providing wishlist functionality with categorization and sharing options.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Wishlister is likely easier to set up due to its simpler feature set. BLOY, with its comprehensive loyalty program features, will likely require more configuration and customization.
Which app provides better customer support?
BLOY explicitly offers 24/7 support, giving it a significant advantage over Wishlister, where support information is not available.
Which app is more suitable for a small business?
While Wishlister may seem appealing for its simplicity, the poor rating and limited reviews make it a risky choice. A small business may be better off with a trial of BLOY, as the provided support would allow them to build a robust customer strategy.
How do the apps differ in their impact on customer lifetime value?
BLOY is designed to directly increase customer lifetime value by incentivizing repeat purchases and building customer loyalty through its points and rewards system. Wishlister's impact on customer lifetime value is less direct, potentially increasing sales by making it easier for customers to track and purchase desired items.
