Our Verdict
If your primary concern is protecting your store from bots, malicious traffic, or content theft, BM: Country blocker IP blocker is the clear choice. However, if your goal is to expand your business internationally and provide a localized shopping experience for customers in different countries, Geolocation - GLC is the better option. Its AI translation, currency conversion, and region-based redirection features are tailored towards facilitating global sales and improving the customer experience.
For merchants who need *both* security and localization, they will likely need to consider using *both* apps, as they do not directly compete. However, merchants with a tight budget and only one overriding concern should choose accordingly.
