Our Verdict
The choice between these apps depends entirely on the merchant's priorities. If the merchant is primarily concerned with security, fraud prevention, and blocking unwanted traffic (e.g., bot traffic, traffic from specific regions known for fraud), BM: Country Blocker IP Blocker is the more suitable option. However, if the merchant's goal is to expand into international markets, increase global sales, and provide a localized shopping experience for international customers, Hextom AI Translate & Currency is the clear choice. While both use geolocation, they do so for distinct purposes – security vs. localization.
Common Questions
Can BM: Country blocker IP blocker help with international SEO?
Indirectly, by blocking bot traffic, it can improve the quality of data Google uses to rank your site, potentially benefiting SEO. However, it doesn't directly implement international SEO strategies.

How accurate is Hextom AI Translate & Currency's translation?
The app leverages AI translation engines. While AI has improved significantly, accuracy can still vary depending on the language pair and complexity of the content. Manual review and editing are often necessary for optimal accuracy.
