Our Verdict
For merchants looking to build a subscription-based business with gated content, BOLD Memberships App is the clear choice. It offers the necessary tools to restrict access and manage recurring billing. However, if the primary goal is to boost customer loyalty, increase engagement, and drive referrals without restricting content, E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards is the more suitable option. It provides a wider range of features focused on points, rewards, and VIP tiers to incentivize repeat purchases and referrals. Ultimately, BOLD is for subscription models, whereas E! is for more general customer retention.
