BON Loyalty Rewards Program vs Rivo: Loyalty Program, Rewardsfor Shopify (2026)
Both BON Loyalty Rewards Program and Rivo: Loyalty Program, Rewards are highly rated (4.9/5) customer loyalty solutions on the Shopify app store. BON Loyalty positions itself as the 'ultimate customer retention platform', emphasizing ease of use and comprehensive features like points, VIP tiers, and referrals. They highlight brand-tailored loyalty pages and cross-platform (including in-store POS) integration. Rivo, on the other hand, stresses frequent product updates using the latest Shopify tech (as of 2025) and a customer success team focused on improving retention metrics. Rivo also emphasizes its modern architecture and integration capabilities. The apps are similar, but Bon highlights customer service and ease of use in its marketing. The primary difference lies in their perceived focus. BON Loyalty seems to target a broader audience, including those needing B2B loyalty programs. Their emphasis on 'effortless setup' suggests a focus on simplicity and quick implementation. Rivo's claim of weekly product updates and a 'Developer Toolkit' points towards a focus on fast-growing DTC brands needing advanced customization and integration capabilities. Rivo's founder-led narrative and customer success team commitment further distinguish it as a more hands-on, metric-driven solution. BON is suitable for merchants looking for a solid, mature platform, whereas Rivo is more aimed at fast-growing stores wanting modern architecture and a focus on their loyalty metrics.
