Bonify Custom Fields vs SWT Products Custom Fieldsfor Shopify (2026)
Bonify Custom Fields and SWT Products Custom Fields both aim to enhance Shopify stores by allowing merchants to create and manage custom data through metafields. Bonify Custom Fields positions itself as a comprehensive metafield manager, emphasizing its long-standing presence ("the original metafield manager") and a broader feature set, particularly its integration with eBay for item-specific fields. SWT Products Custom Fields, while lacking extensive user reviews, boasts a higher average rating, suggesting potentially higher customer satisfaction among its limited user base. Our Verdict
For merchants deeply involved in selling on eBay and requiring automated item-specific metafield generation and syncing, Bonify Custom Fields is the clear choice. Its robust feature set and integration capabilities cater to complex data management needs. However, for merchants primarily focused on simpler metafield management within their Shopify store and prioritizing ease of use and potentially better initial satisfaction (based on the higher rating, despite the low review count), SWT Products Custom Fields may be a better fit, especially if they don't need eBay integration or advanced data import capabilities. Consider a trial of both if available to properly assess ease of use and feature suitability.
