Bonjoro: Thank You Videos vs SC Loyalty Rewardsfor Shopify (2026)
Bonjoro: Thank You Videos and SC Loyalty Rewards both aim to improve customer loyalty, but they approach it from drastically different angles. Bonjoro focuses on personalized video messaging to create a direct, emotional connection with new customers, aiming to foster a sense of appreciation and encourage repeat purchases through personalized engagement. SC Loyalty Rewards, on the other hand, offers a more traditional loyalty program with points and rewards, incentivizing continued engagement through gamification and tangible benefits. This difference in approach dictates which app is better suited for specific merchant needs and brand strategies. Bonjoro's strength lies in its ability to create memorable, personal experiences that can significantly boost customer lifetime value. It’s best for merchants who value direct communication and are willing to invest time in creating personalized videos. SC Loyalty Rewards excels at providing a structured, automated system for rewarding customer loyalty. It's ideal for merchants who want a set-and-forget solution to incentivize repeat purchases and build a customer base over time. However, the initial rating differential suggests that Bonjoro may be more easily implemented.

Our Verdict
For merchants focused on building a strong brand identity through personalized interactions, particularly those who value direct engagement and are willing to invest time in creating impactful videos, Bonjoro: Thank You Videos is the stronger choice. It provides a unique opportunity to connect with customers on a personal level, fostering loyalty through genuine appreciation.
However, for merchants prioritizing a scalable and automated system to reward repeat purchases and build a large customer base without significant time investment in personalized communication, SC Loyalty Rewards is likely the better option. It offers a more traditional approach to loyalty programs, focusing on points accumulation and redemption to incentivize continued engagement. The higher number of reviews suggests it may also be a more established solution, even though it has a lower rating.
