Our Verdict
If your primary goal is maximizing conversion by presenting the most relevant payment options to customers and you don't need advanced shipping rules or checkout validation, Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero is likely the better choice. Its higher review count suggests broader adoption and potentially a more refined user experience specifically for payment method optimization. However, if you require granular control over both payment and shipping methods, along with tools to prevent fraud and enforce order minimums, Bony: Checkout Rules & COD is the more suitable option, providing a more comprehensive checkout management solution, especially if COD is a significant part of your business. However, the low review count might mean a less mature and potentially buggier app.
