Bony: Checkout Rules & COD vs Ultimate Postal Code Blockerfor Shopify (2026)
Bony: Checkout Rules & COD is a comprehensive checkout management app aimed at providing merchants with fine-grained control over payment and shipping methods. Its key strength lies in its ability to create rules based on various factors like product, region, customer, order value, and shipping conditions. In contrast, Ultimate Postal Code Blocker, based on the available information, appears to be a much more narrowly focused app. Given the minimal information, its assumed primary function is blocking orders based on postal codes. Bony targets a broad audience of merchants seeking to optimize their checkout process, reduce fraud, and improve the customer experience through customized rules and restrictions. Ultimate Postal Code Blocker seems geared towards merchants with the specific need to exclude certain geographical areas based on postal codes, potentially for logistical, compliance, or risk management reasons.

Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants seeking granular control over their checkout process, Bony: Checkout Rules & COD offers a more robust and versatile solution. Its ability to customize payment and shipping options based on a wide array of conditions provides significant value for optimizing conversion rates and minimizing risks. However, if a merchant *only* needs to restrict orders based on postal codes, and that is their *sole* checkout requirement, then Ultimate Postal Code Blocker *might* suffice. However, the extremely limited review count raises concerns. Due to Bony's much more extensive feature set and higher number of reviews, it's the recommended choice for the vast majority of Shopify merchants seeking to improve their checkout experience.
