Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on controlling the *quantity* of items purchased – setting minimums, maximums, or limiting purchases to subscribers – Madgic Order Limits Quantity is likely the better choice. Its higher review count and specific feature set around quantity limits (including MOQ) indicates a strong fit for this use case. On the other hand, if a merchant needs a *more flexible* rules engine that can incorporate product metafields and cart/line attributes for more complex validation scenarios beyond simple quantity limits, BoomGate: Checkout Validation is probably a better starting point. However, its significantly lower review count suggests it might be newer or cater to a niche audience.
