Bosta Shipping vs ZigZag Returns & Exchangesfor Shopify (2026)
Bosta Shipping and ZigZag Returns & Exchanges, while both operating within the 'Returns and warranty' and 'Returns and exchanges' Shopify categories, address fundamentally different aspects of the e-commerce post-purchase experience. Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on efficient domestic shipping and cash-on-delivery options within a specific region, Bosta Shipping may be a suitable solution. However, the low number of reviews suggests limited adoption or a newer app. ZigZag Returns & Exchanges is clearly the superior choice for merchants handling international or UK-based returns, given its higher rating, substantial user base, and comprehensive features for managing returns across multiple carriers. It offers greater automation and a better customer experience for returns management.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to integrate with existing systems?
Both apps claim seamless integration with Shopify. Bosta's auto-sync feature suggests ease of integration for order information. ZigZag's pre-negotiated carrier rates and one-click refund suggest streamlined integration with existing logistics and payment workflows.
Which app is more focused on improving customer satisfaction?
Both aim to improve customer satisfaction, but through different means. Bosta focuses on fast and reliable delivery with transparent tracking, while ZigZag focuses on a smooth and easy returns process with customizable notifications. ZigZag likely has a greater impact on improving customer satisfaction regarding returns specifically.
Which app is better for small businesses?
It depends on the business's needs. If a small business primarily ships domestically and uses COD, Bosta might be a viable option. However, the higher rating and more comprehensive features of ZigZag make it a better overall solution for managing returns, especially as the business grows and potentially expands internationally.
How do the apps handle returns shipping costs?
Bosta doesn't explicitly mention returns shipping costs. ZigZag's description states pre-negotiated rates with multiple carriers, suggesting a focus on providing cost-effective returns shipping options. The merchant would set rules for returns within ZigZag, potentially including paying for return shipping.
Which app provides more comprehensive data analytics?
Bosta mentions 'detailed business analytics', suggesting insights into shipping performance. ZigZag mentions a 'returns management dashboard' offering insights on return reasons and trends. Without further details, it's difficult to determine which provides more comprehensive analytics, but ZigZag's focuses on return-specific insights.
