Bouncer Age Verification vs CheckboxAssistant: Agree Termsfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Bouncer Age Verification and CheckboxAssistant: Agree Terms face a clear disparity. Bouncer Age Verification aims to verify the age of customers, potentially targeting businesses selling age-restricted products like alcohol, tobacco, or certain content. However, it currently lacks any user reviews or a rating, indicating a potential lack of adoption or very recent launch. This poses a significant risk for merchants seeking a reliable and tested solution. CheckboxAssistant: Agree Terms, on the other hand, focuses on enforcing terms and conditions agreements through a mandatory checkbox at key points like checkout. Its perfect 5/5 rating based on 24 reviews suggests a well-received and functional app focused on legal compliance and agreement confirmation. This app is positioned for businesses that need explicit consent from their customers, focusing on different legal requirements than simply age verification.
