Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary concern is helping customers navigate their store and improving search engine understanding of their product categorization, Breadcrumbs Uncomplicated is the better choice. It offers a clear, structured approach to breadcrumbs and JSON-LD implementation. However, for merchants struggling with slow loading times due to large images and a need to improve image-based SEO, SEO Speed Image Optimizer is the more suitable option. Its automated features and bulk editing capabilities make image optimization a relatively straightforward process.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on the specific SEO challenges a merchant is facing. Both apps contribute to improved SEO, but in different ways. A store could even benefit from using both apps, one improving on-site navigation, the other focusing on the loading time and SEO potential of images. A store with a poor navigation structure but well-optimized images could greatly benefit from Breadcrumbs Uncomplicated, while a slow-loading store with many images may improve more from implementing SEO Speed Image Optimizer.
