Brightpearl by Sage vs PML Stock Take Inventory Countfor Shopify (2026)
Brightpearl by Sage and PML Stock Take Inventory Count are both Shopify apps designed to help merchants manage their inventory, but they cater to different segments. Brightpearl, with its Sage backing, suggests a more comprehensive, enterprise-level solution likely integrating with other Sage accounting and ERP systems. It aims to offer a broader suite of tools, though specific details are absent from the provided data. PML Stock Take Inventory Count, on the other hand, appears laser-focused on physical store inventory management, particularly stock takes and transfers. Its marketing focuses on ease of use, barcode scanning, and seamless integration with Shopify POS, making it ideal for brick-and-mortar stores seeking streamlined stock control. While both apps fall under the 'Inventory' and 'Inventory Optimization' categories, PML Stock Take Inventory Count emphasizes physical store operations and avoids discrepancies through regular stock takes, whereas Brightpearl's scope is less explicit. The customer reviews give PML an advantage with a rating of 4.9/5 compared to Brightpearl's 4.7/5, though Brightpearl has a higher number of reviews (43 vs. 30).
