BSPK Clienteling and CRM vs WAX: marketing on WhatsAppfor Shopify (2026)
BSPK Clienteling and CRM and WAX: marketing on WhatsApp both aim to boost sales for Shopify merchants, but they employ vastly different strategies. BSPK focuses on enhancing in-person and personalized customer interactions through a dedicated iOS clienteling app. Its strength lies in providing sales teams with detailed client profiles, engagement history, and visual curation tools for highly personalized outreach. This approach caters to merchants with a strong emphasis on direct sales and building long-term relationships, particularly in retail environments where in-person clienteling is vital. The app's effectiveness relies heavily on active participation from sales teams. By contrast, WAX emphasizes automated marketing and communication via WhatsApp, a popular messaging platform. It targets a broader merchant base seeking to leverage the high open and response rates associated with WhatsApp for automated marketing campaigns, abandoned cart recovery, and customer re-engagement. WAX provides a more scalable solution for merchants who prioritize efficient communication and automated workflows. Its marketing campaign and conversational flow builder features facilitate reaching a large customer base with personalized messages, while its integration with support tools enables seamless customer service. Unlike BSPK, WAX focuses less on individual sales team activity and more on leveraging WhatsApp as a central marketing channel for various use cases. The key difference is that BSPK provides a mobile first, human-driven sales process while WAX provides an automated marketing engine.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants with a dedicated sales team that thrives on building personal relationships with customers, especially in a retail setting, BSPK Clienteling and CRM offers a targeted solution. Its visual clienteling approach and emphasis on individual interactions can significantly boost sales and customer loyalty. However, the app's effectiveness depends heavily on consistent engagement from the sales team and may not be suitable for businesses primarily focused on online-only interactions.
WAX: marketing on WhatsApp is a better fit for merchants looking to leverage the power of WhatsApp for automated marketing and customer engagement. Its ease of use, combined with the high open and response rates of WhatsApp, makes it a valuable tool for driving sales, recovering abandoned carts, and nurturing customer relationships at scale. WAX may be preferred for businesses prioritizing efficient and automated communication with a broad customer base and offers a good alternative to email marketing.
