BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution vs Dropifyfor Shopify (2026)
BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution and Dropify occupy completely different niches within the Shopify ecosystem, despite sharing the 'Sourcing Options' category. BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution is a comprehensive solution aimed at merchants operating in the B2B or hybrid B2B/B2C space. Its strengths lie in its robust features for managing wholesale pricing, customer segmentation, order management, and tax compliance, all tailored for the complexities of B2B commerce. The app boasts a high rating and a substantial number of reviews, indicating widespread user satisfaction and a proven track record. It is intended to centralize and streamline wholesale operations for established or growing businesses. Dropify, on the other hand, focuses solely on facilitating dropshipping from the 'dropi' platform, specifically serving merchants who utilize dropi's product catalog and order fulfillment services. Its core function is to synchronize products and orders between Shopify stores and the dropi platform. The stark contrast between the two apps is evident in their feature sets, target audiences, and user ratings. BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution offers a suite of advanced B2B-specific tools, including custom pricing, registration workflows, and net terms, making it a powerful solution for businesses with sophisticated wholesale requirements. Dropify provides a more targeted solution for dropshipping, specifically for those who use dropi as their supplier. It provides basic features for product import and order synchronization. The significant difference in the number of reviews and the average rating highlights a clear difference in adoption and/or user satisfaction. For a merchant seeking a broad dropshipping platform solution, Dropify might be a start. For merchants needing B2B capabilities Dropify would not be a useful tool.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on B2B or hybrid B2B/B2C sales and requiring robust features for managing wholesale pricing, customer segmentation, order management, and tax compliance, BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution is the clear choice. Its high rating and large user base suggest it is a reliable and effective solution. Its advanced feature set is tailored for more complex business needs.
Dropify is specifically for those whose business model is to dropship products directly from the Dropi platform. If a merchant is already using dropi and needs seamless integration with their Shopify store, Dropify can simplify product sourcing and order fulfillment. However, merchants seeking a comprehensive B2B solution or those not using dropi should avoid it. The lower rating and smaller user base suggest a more niche audience or potentially some areas for improvement.
