BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution vs DSers‑AliExpress Dropshippingfor Shopify (2026)
BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution and DSers‑AliExpress Dropshipping both operate within the "Sourcing options" category on Shopify, but they cater to entirely different business models and merchant needs. BSS B2B focuses on enabling and optimizing B2B wholesale operations directly on a merchant's Shopify store. It offers tools for custom pricing, customer segmentation, tax management, and order control specific to wholesale clients. DSers, in contrast, is a dropshipping solution that facilitates the sourcing and fulfillment of products directly from AliExpress suppliers. It streamlines product importing, order processing, and supplier management for merchants operating a dropshipping business model. While both apps aim to simplify business processes, their functionalities are vastly different. BSS B2B is designed for established businesses or hybrid (B2C and B2B) stores that want to enhance their wholesale capabilities and offer tailored experiences to their B2B customers. DSers is geared towards entrepreneurs and businesses looking to start or scale a dropshipping business without holding inventory. The large difference in review count suggests DSers has a broader user base, likely because dropshipping is a more common entry point to e-commerce than operating a dedicated B2B wholesale arm. Both apps emphasize automation, but in different domains: BSS B2B automates B2B-specific processes like registration and tax exemption, while DSers automates dropshipping processes like order placement and tracking.

Our Verdict
The choice between BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution and DSers‑AliExpress Dropshipping depends entirely on the merchant's business model. If you're running a B2B or hybrid (B2C and B2B) store and want to streamline your wholesale operations, offer custom pricing to business clients, and manage net terms, BSS B2B is the clear choice. It's specifically designed for businesses that require B2B-specific functionalities.
However, if you're looking to start a dropshipping business or streamline your existing dropshipping operations using AliExpress, DSers is the more suitable option. Its focus on product sourcing, supplier management, and automated order processing makes it ideal for merchants who don't want to hold inventory and prefer to fulfill orders directly from suppliers. The higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews suggest a generally positive user experience within the dropshipping context.
Common Questions
Can I use both BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution and DSers‑AliExpress Dropshipping together?
While technically possible to install both, it's highly unlikely you'd need both. BSS B2B is for managing wholesale *if* you already have inventory. DSers focuses on dropshipping from AliExpress *instead* of holding inventory. The functionalities are largely independent and not designed to work in conjunction.
Is one app easier to use than the other?
Ease of use is subjective, but DSers might have a slightly lower learning curve for new e-commerce entrepreneurs due to the readily available resources for dropshipping. BSS B2B, with its B2B-specific features, may require more setup and configuration to tailor to your specific wholesale needs.
Which app is more scalable for a growing business?
Both apps are designed to scale with growing businesses. BSS B2B explicitly mentions scaling to larger catalogs and customer segments. DSers allows you to manage multiple Shopify stores and handle hundreds of orders at once, suggesting its scalability for a growing dropshipping operation.
Does BSS B2B integrate with AliExpress?
The provided description of BSS B2B does not mention integration with AliExpress. It focuses on features related to managing B2B sales and pricing directly on your Shopify store. The main focus of BSS B2B is integration with Shopify POS and exposing public APIs to integrate with your existing systems.
What if I want to offer both dropshipped and wholesale products?
This hybrid approach would be complex. You would likely need to carefully manage which products are sold through each system. BSS B2B would handle your wholesale inventory and pricing for those products, while DSers would handle sourcing and fulfillment for your dropshipped products. You may need to make adjustments to order fulfillment processes and customer communication to clarify the difference.
