Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants prioritizing immediate revenue gains through strategic product bundling and a proven track record, BST‑Frequently Bought Together is the stronger choice. Its positive reviews and emphasis on mobile-first design indicate a well-established and user-friendly app. However, for merchants prioritizing customer retention and reducing customer service burden through a streamlined post-purchase experience, Foxdeli ‑ Tracking & Up‑sell offers a potentially valuable solution. Nevertheless, the complete lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice until user feedback emerges.
Essentially, BST is a proven tactic for increasing basket size at the point of sale, while Foxdeli is trying to build a relationship after the sale with the goal of repeat purchases. Those with more sophisticated marketing operations and a strong initial sales process may see more potential in Foxdeli, while those focused on quick gains and immediate revenue boosts will benefit more from BST.
