BST‑Frequently Bought Together and Pauket Promo both aim to increase sales for Shopify merchants, but they approach the problem from different angles. BST‑Frequently Bought Together focuses on cross-selling and upselling through AI-powered product recommendations and customizable bundle widgets, specifically targeting merchants who want to leverage Amazon-style 'frequently bought together' functionality. This app emphasizes visual presentation and ease of integration with Shopify themes. Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a hands-off, visually appealing solution to boost average order value through smart product recommendations and bundles, BST‑Frequently Bought Together is the stronger choice. Its AI-driven approach and established user base (indicated by significantly more reviews) make it a potentially more reliable and effective option. The mobile-first design is a crucial benefit in 2026.
However, if a merchant prioritizes targeted marketing campaigns, customer retargeting, and direct control over discount offerings, Pauket Promo might be a better fit. It provides tools for creating and distributing customized coupons, offering greater flexibility in marketing strategies. However, the lack of reviews raises concerns about its robustness and support compared to BST.
