Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants in 2026, GoGenerosity ‑ Donations emerges as the more suitable choice, especially for those actively seeking a proven and user-friendly donation app. Its high rating, coupled with specific features like converting donations into gift cards and providing a real-time impact calculator, make it a compelling option for businesses aiming to boost revenue while supporting charitable causes. The "no-code" setup further enhances its appeal.
Bulby, while potentially offering a similar functionality, lacks the crucial validation and information to make an informed decision. Unless a merchant is specifically interested in being an early adopter and taking a risk on an unproven app, GoGenerosity ‑ Donations represents the safer and more likely successful choice, offering a clear value proposition and positive user reviews.
