Bundles.app ‑ Inventory Sync vs ReConvert Upsell & Cross Sell!for Shopify (2026)
Bundles.app ‑ Inventory Sync and ReConvert Upsell & Cross Sell! both aim to increase Average Order Value (AOV), but they approach it from different angles. Bundles.app focuses specifically on creating and managing product bundles, emphasizing inventory synchronization and ease of setup. It targets merchants who want to offer various bundle types (multipacks, curated sets, mix-and-match) and need accurate inventory management across sales channels. ReConvert, on the other hand, is a broader upsell and cross-sell app that covers the entire customer journey, from pre-purchase to post-purchase, using a range of tactics, including product recommendations, cart upsells, and post-purchase funnels. ReConvert aims for maximum AOV improvement utilizing multiple touchpoints, whereas Bundles.app takes a more targeted approach centering specifically on product bundles and their inventory. ReConvert offers a wider range of upsell and cross-sell strategies, but many of those features are only available to Shopify Plus merchants (e.g., checkout upsells). Bundles.app's core strength is in its simplicity and directness – setting up product bundles and automatically syncing inventory, irrespective of the Shopify Plan.

Our Verdict
If you are specifically looking to implement product bundles and absolutely need robust inventory synchronization, Bundles.app is the better choice. Its simplicity and focus on bundle creation make it easier to manage. However, if you are on Shopify Plus or need a comprehensive upsell and cross-sell strategy across the entire customer journey, ReConvert is a stronger contender, despite the slightly lower rating and the fact that checkout upsells are limited to Plus users. ReConvert is the better tool for more advanced needs.
