Bundly • Mix & Match Bundles vs Order Time Inventoryfor Shopify (2026)
Bundly • Mix & Match Bundles and Order Time Inventory serve entirely different purposes for Shopify merchants, although both touch on the broader category of "inventory optimization". Bundly focuses on enhancing the customer experience and increasing Average Order Value (AOV) through product bundling and customization options. It's designed for merchants who want to offer creative product combinations without directly altering their core product catalog. Order Time Inventory, on the other hand, is a comprehensive inventory management system aimed at streamlining operations from purchasing and production to order fulfillment. Order Time Inventory is suited for larger or more complex businesses that require in-depth control over their inventory, manufacturing processes, and order management. It offers features like serial/lot number tracking, barcode scanning, and customizable reports. Bundly is more targeted towards smaller to medium-sized businesses that want to quickly implement and test different bundling strategies to boost sales. Its ease of use and focus on a specific sales tactic make it accessible for merchants who may not have dedicated inventory management expertise.

Our Verdict
If your primary goal is to increase AOV through flexible product bundling options and you value a simple, easy-to-use solution, Bundly • Mix & Match Bundles is the clear choice. Its focus on enhancing the shopping experience with mix-and-match and build-your-own-box features makes it ideal for businesses that want to experiment with different bundle offers.
However, if you require a comprehensive inventory management system to handle complex operations such as manufacturing, multi-location tracking, and detailed reporting, Order Time Inventory is the more suitable solution. While it lacks reviews at this time, its robust features and focus on operational efficiency suggest it's designed for businesses with more demanding inventory needs.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Bundly is likely easier to set up and use due to its focus on a specific feature (bundling) and its use of native app blocks for speed and theme compatibility. Order Time Inventory, being a comprehensive system, will likely require more configuration.
Can both apps help me increase sales?
Yes, but in different ways. Bundly directly increases sales by encouraging customers to purchase more items through bundles. Order Time Inventory indirectly increases sales by ensuring you have the right products in stock and can fulfill orders efficiently.
Which app is better for a small business just starting out?
Bundly is probably a better starting point for a small business that wants a quick win by boosting AOV through bundling. Order Time Inventory might be overkill unless the business has complex inventory needs from day one.
Which app handles inventory tracking?
Both apps handle inventory tracking, but at different levels. Bundly tracks inventory on a per-product basis within the bundles, without needing to sync. Order Time Inventory offers much more detailed tracking, including serial numbers, lot numbers, and multiple locations.
Is either app compatible with Shopify POS?
Bundly specifically states that it's not compatible with Shopify POS. There is no mention of Shopify POS compatibility for Order Time Inventory, implying that it may or may not be compatible.
