Buy Button channel vs Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawerfor Shopify (2026)
Buy Button channel and Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer address vastly different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. Buy Button channel focuses on external sales channels, allowing merchants to embed product links and checkout buttons on external websites and blogs. Its strength lies in driving traffic from off-platform sources directly to checkout, expanding reach beyond the Shopify store itself. The target audience is merchants looking to leverage content marketing, social media, or email marketing to drive sales without requiring customers to navigate their entire Shopify store first. It's best suited for direct-response marketing and simplifying the purchase process. Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer, on the other hand, is designed to optimize the on-site shopping experience. It enhances the Shopify cart drawer, aiming to increase Average Order Value (AOV) through upsells, urgency signals, and trust elements. Its focus is entirely within the Shopify store, improving the checkout flow for existing visitors. The ideal user is a merchant who wants to maximize the revenue generated from existing store traffic by optimizing the cart experience. Kaching's strength is in its customization options and built-in marketing features that encourage customers to add more items to their cart before completing their purchase.

Our Verdict
If you're looking to expand your reach beyond your Shopify store and sell directly from other websites, blogs, or marketing channels, the Buy Button channel is the better choice. It simplifies the purchase process for customers coming from external sources. However, if your priority is to optimize the in-store shopping experience and increase the average order value from existing website traffic, Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer is the superior option. Its focus on upsells, urgency, and trust elements within the cart drawer makes it a powerful tool for maximizing revenue per order.
Because the rating for Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer is significantly higher (5/5 versus 3.7/5) despite a comparable number of reviews, merchants should consider the potential impact of those reviews and explore the reviews for Buy Button channel to see what might be driving the lower score.
