BuyAfterTry vs Try with Mirra Before You Buyfor Shopify (2026)
Both BuyAfterTry and Try with Mirra Before You Buy aim to provide 'try before you buy' payment options for Shopify merchants in 2026, along with related return and selling plan features. However, they differ significantly in credibility and focus. Try with Mirra Before You Buy has established itself with a perfect 5/5 rating based on 28 reviews, focusing on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. It emphasizes hassle-free returns, secure payment storage, and customer self-service through a customer portal, backed by 24/7 support and marketing materials. BuyAfterTry, on the other hand, lacks any reviews or ratings, making it a riskier choice. It generally touts creating multiple selling plans and an easy returns interface. It lacks the specific targeting and support offered by Try with Mirra. The absence of reviews for BuyAfterTry presents a significant challenge to its adoption. Try with Mirra leverages its positive reviews and feature set to cater to merchants who want to minimize their workload by allowing customers to manage returns themselves via a portal. The commitment to 24/7 support from Try with Mirra Before You Buy is a differentiating point for merchants who require continuous assistance. BuyAfterTry's promise of an 'intuitive interface' remains unsubstantiated without user feedback. While BuyAfterTry targets a broader set of products, Try with Mirra emphasizes its suitability for the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle sectors, reflecting a focus on products where fit and style are critical.

Our Verdict
Try with Mirra Before You Buy is the stronger choice for most merchants, particularly those in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industries. Its positive reviews, comprehensive support, and focus on customer self-service for returns make it a less risky and potentially more effective solution. The secure payment storage further reduces risk for both the merchant and the customer.
BuyAfterTry might be suitable for merchants on a very tight budget or with unique product offerings outside the fashion, beauty and lifestyle categories that are willing to take a gamble on an unproven app and provide feedback. However, the lack of reviews and the absence of specific support details make it a questionable choice compared to the well-regarded Try with Mirra.
