BuyerCheck vs Deliverlitics: Stop Scammersfor Shopify (2026)
BuyerCheck and Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers both aim to reduce losses due to fraudulent orders on Shopify stores, but they approach the problem from different angles and target slightly different types of merchants. BuyerCheck focuses specifically on mitigating risks associated with Cash on Delivery (COD) orders. It uses AI to predict the risk of COD order failure at the checkout stage, allowing merchants to disable COD, request prepayment, or manually review orders. Deliverlitics, on the other hand, tackles a broader range of delivery scams, including 'friendly fraud' and repeat scam attempts. It distinguishes itself by analyzing merchant-side data like returns, reships, and support messages to identify patterns of fraudulent behavior that generic fraud filters might miss. Deliverlitics also emphasizes automation of fraud responses based on risk levels.

Our Verdict
Based on the available information, Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers appears to be the stronger choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its 5/5 rating and 7 reviews suggest a level of user satisfaction that BuyerCheck, with no ratings or reviews, simply cannot match. Furthermore, Deliverlitics' broader focus on delivery scams and its use of merchant-side data for more accurate fraud detection make it a more comprehensive solution. However, if a merchant's primary concern is managing the risks specifically associated with COD orders, and they are willing to take a chance on an unproven app, BuyerCheck might be worth exploring. But without any user feedback, there's a significant risk associated with adopting BuyerCheck.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Without user reviews for BuyerCheck, it's difficult to say definitively. However, Deliverlitics' emphasis on automated actions based on risk suggests it may be easier to manage once configured. BuyerCheck's manual review option could add more workload.
Does BuyerCheck or Deliverlitics offer a free trial?
Deliverlitics offers a free trial of 'First 100 Delivery Scams Free!' BuyerCheck does not explicitly mention a free trial in its description.
Which app provides more detailed fraud analytics?
BuyerCheck mentions providing a risk score with explanations and a full analytics report after accepting an order. Deliverlitics focuses on flagging high-risk orders and doesn't explicitly mention analytics details, but the ability to spot repeat scammers implies some level of reporting capabilities.
How are the AI algorithms trained in each app?
The data does not provide specific information on the AI training methods used by either app. However, Deliverlitics mentions analyzing merchant-side data (returns, reships, etc.) which means its AI likely learns from a merchant's historical data to improve accuracy.
Is BuyerCheck or Deliverlitics more suitable for a large e-commerce business?
Deliverlitics is probably the more suitable option for larger e-commerce businesses, especially those that handle a large volume of deliveries and are prone to more sophisticated scam attempts. Its ability to automate actions and analyze comprehensive merchant-side data provides scalability. BuyerCheck could potentially be used by any size store that is heavily reliant on COD payments, but its lack of validation is concerning.
