Byte Lookbook & Shop The Look vs Pixc: Image Editingfor Shopify (2026)
Byte Lookbook & Shop The Look and Pixc: Image Editing, while both residing in the 'Images and media' category on Shopify, serve distinctly different purposes and target different merchant needs. Byte Lookbook focuses on visual merchandising and upselling through interactive lookbooks and shoppable image galleries, aiming to increase Average Order Value (AOV) by enabling customers to easily purchase complete looks or complementary products. Pixc: Image Editing, on the other hand, likely concentrates on enhancing existing product images via editing services, and is not focused on creating shoppable lookbooks. The difference is that one enables merchandising and upselling, and the other improves product image quality. Byte Lookbook positions itself as a tool to create seamless shopping experiences through curated visual content, appealing to merchants who want to improve product discoverability and increase sales through strategic bundling. Pixc, judging from its name, seems geared towards businesses that need professional image editing to make their products look their best, potentially due to lack of in-house design resources. While both ultimately affect the visual presentation of products, their approaches and target audiences vary considerably.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on boosting sales by leveraging visual merchandising and creating compelling shoppable experiences, Byte Lookbook & Shop The Look appears to be the better choice. Its features directly address AOV growth through lookbooks, image hotspots, and product bundling, and the higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews indicate stronger user satisfaction. However, if a merchant is struggling with the quality of their product images and needs professional editing, Pixc: Image Editing may be the more suitable solution.
Given the information provided, there is no feature set or reason to use Pixc unless improving product photography quality is the primary objective. It is likely that Pixc does not handle lookbooks or any shoppable features, so Byte Lookbook is the recommended choice for merchants looking to improve their shopability.
