C: Bulk Add to Cart vs STC Wholesalefor Shopify (2026)
Both C: Bulk Add to Cart and STC Wholesale aim to streamline the wholesale experience on Shopify, but they approach the problem from different angles. C: Bulk Add to Cart focuses on enabling *customers* (including wholesale buyers) to quickly add multiple products or variants to their cart directly from a collection page. It's primarily about simplifying the ordering process for bulk purchases by providing a faster, more convenient checkout experience. It emphasizes ease of use with multiple settings options and broad global reach through Markets' multi-language and multi-currency support. STC Wholesale, on the other hand, is specifically designed to create a dedicated wholesale *portal* or page for stockists. It allows merchants to showcase their wholesale products, set minimum and maximum order quantities, offer multi-currency pricing, and manage order requests. STC Wholesale provides tools for organizing products using existing Shopify collections and even displaying draft products exclusively for wholesale clients. It prioritizes managing stockist relationships and simplifying re-orders through order history tracking, offering a more comprehensive B2B wholesale management solution.

Our Verdict
If you simply want to enable existing or new customers to easily purchase items in bulk from collection pages for faster checkout, C: Bulk Add to Cart is the better choice. It focuses solely on streamlining the adding-to-cart process and leverages Shopify's existing features for order and customer management. It would benefit merchants needing a simple, fast way to increase average order values. It's about ease of use and improving the customer experience for large orders.
However, if you're focused on building and managing dedicated wholesale relationships with stockists, handling wholesale specific product visibility, minimum/maximum purchase quantities, and want a centralized system for managing wholesale orders, STC Wholesale is the superior option. It offers a more comprehensive set of tools specifically tailored for B2B wholesale management, even allowing for wholesale-only products. If you're seriously expanding your wholesale channel, or already have an established wholesale business and want to simplify your stockist order management, STC Wholesale will provide a superior ROI.
Common Questions
Which app is better for international wholesalers?
Both apps support international wholesalers. C: Bulk Add to Cart supports Multi Language and Multi Currency Support via Markets, while STC Wholesale supports multi-currency pricing, meaning both can serve international clients to some degree.
Can I hide products from regular customers using either app?
C: Bulk Add to Cart relies on Shopify's standard product visibility settings. STC Wholesale offers the ability to create draft products exclusively for wholesale customers, effectively hiding them from regular customers.
Which app is easier to set up?
C: Bulk Add to Cart is likely easier to set up initially, as it focuses on a single feature (bulk adding to cart). STC Wholesale requires more configuration to create a wholesale page, set pricing, and manage stockist accounts.
Does either app help with pricing tiers for wholesale customers?
STC Wholesale allows you to set wholesale pricing distinct from retail pricing and supports different currencies, effectively allowing some price tier management. C: Bulk Add to Cart would rely on Shopify's built-in tiered pricing capabilities if available in 2026.
Which app helps me manage my inventory better?
Neither app *directly* manages inventory. Both rely on Shopify's inventory management system. However, STC Wholesale's order request system and stockist order history provide better visibility into wholesale demand, which could indirectly aid in inventory planning.
