Calconic ‑ Calculator Builder vs Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2Bfor Shopify (2026)
Calconic ‑ Calculator Builder and Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B both operate within the 'Pricing' category on the Shopify app store, but serve fundamentally different purposes. Calconic is a calculator builder, implying it allows merchants to embed custom calculators on their storefronts, likely for product customization, quoting, or similar applications. Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B focuses specifically on displaying VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive prices, primarily targeting businesses that cater to both B2B and B2C customer segments, where clear price presentation is critical due to varying tax implications. The key difference lies in their functionality. Calconic's strength is in providing interactive calculation tools, while Enhance excels in simplifying price transparency by showing dual prices and allowing for customized tax rule application based on country, product, or customer tags. Enhance offers features like customizing font size, color and background, which Calconic is unlikely to offer, judging from its name and limited data available about it. The higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews for Enhance suggests stronger user satisfaction or wider adoption within its target niche, making it a potentially more reliable choice for merchants needing VAT dual price display functionality.
