Camouflage: Hide Sold Variants vs Hulk Product Optionsfor Shopify (2026)
Camouflage: Hide Sold Variants and Hulk Product Options address different aspects of product variants on a Shopify store. Camouflage focuses solely on improving the customer experience related to sold-out or unavailable variants. It allows merchants to hide, disable, or style these variants based on inventory levels, country, customer tags, or other conditions, preventing customer frustration and streamlining the shopping process. Its core strength lies in its simplicity and focused functionality for inventory management related to variants. Hulk Product Options, on the other hand, is a comprehensive product customization app. It empowers merchants to offer a wide range of product options, variants, and custom options, including file uploads, image personalization, and bulk option sets. It's designed for stores that want to provide a high degree of product personalization and offer a variety of product configurations. While it allows managing product variants, it does not specifically address hiding or modifying sold-out variants like Camouflage does.
