Our Verdict
The choice between Canteen and Discount Mixer hinges entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If you're operating in an industry where deposits and fees are crucial (e.g., beverage retailers with recycling programs), Canteen is the clear choice due to its specialized features. However, if your primary goal is to drive sales through diverse discount campaigns and promotional offers, Discount Mixer provides a more comprehensive set of tools.
For businesses that need both features, it may be necessary to explore alternative options or use both apps depending on the budget and technical capabilities. While Discount Mixer has a slightly higher rating and more reviews, this doesn't necessarily translate to a superior app; it just reflects a wider appeal due to the universal need for discount functionality.
