Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants actively using Canva to create marketing materials (social media posts, email banners, etc.) and needing a smooth integration between their product catalog and Canva projects, Canva Connect is the clear winner. Its focus on design workflow and collaborative features is unmatched. However, if the primary concern is protecting product images from unauthorized use and reinforcing brand identity through watermarks and stickers, then Easy Watermarks | Engage is the better choice. It offers a more direct and practical solution for image protection and branding. A merchant could also consider using both if their needs cover both creative design workflows *and* image protection, but budget and operational complexity would be a factor.
