Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned about bots and fraudulent transactions impacting their store, Cart Block: checkout validator is the clear choice. Its customizable conditions and bot protection features offer a robust defense. However, for merchants focused on growing their sales and increasing AOV by strategically recommending related products and offering attractive deals, Essential Upsell & Cross Sell is the more suitable option.
While Essential Upsell & Cross Sell has significantly more reviews and a slightly higher rating, the choice depends entirely on the specific needs of the merchant. A mature store struggling with bot attacks would greatly benefit from Cart Block, while a growing store seeking to maximize its sales potential should prioritize Essential Upsell & Cross Sell.
