Cart & Checkout Limit - DMJ and Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero are Shopify apps operating in the Checkout category, but serve vastly different purposes. Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily concerned with managing order sizes, preventing COD fraud, or controlling inventory through order limits, Cart & Checkout Limit - DMJ may be the more appropriate choice, although its low rating should give pause. However, merchants looking to optimize their checkout process, reduce friction in payment selection, and ultimately boost conversion rates will find Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero a far more compelling option, especially given its high rating and substantial number of positive reviews.
Given the significant difference in ratings and review counts, Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero is the generally recommended app for the vast majority of Shopify merchants seeking to improve their checkout experience. Cart & Checkout Limit - DMJ should only be considered if the merchant has a very specific need for order quantity and value limitations and is willing to overlook the lower rating and limited user feedback.
