Our Verdict
The choice between Cart Lock and GoodAPI depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If a store is struggling with fraud, bots, or needs to implement restrictions on certain types of orders, Cart Lock is the clear choice. Its robust rules-based system provides a targeted solution for order validation and prevention. However, if a merchant is focused on building a sustainable brand, attracting eco-conscious customers, and showcasing their environmental impact, GoodAPI is the better option. While Cart Lock may tangentially improve brand perception by reducing negative experiences from fraudulent orders, it is not directly aimed at sustainability.
