Our Verdict
If your primary concern is bots, fraudulent orders, and controlling the origin/nature of orders, Cart Lock:Block Checkout Rules is the stronger choice. Its real-time validation and emphasis on blocking by country, discount, and customer profile offer robust fraud protection. If your focus is on managing order quantities, preventing bulk purchases, or controlling stock levels to protect profits, Pareto – Order Limits Quantity is the more suitable option. Its features around MOQ, maximum quantity limits, and repurchase controls cater directly to these needs. Merchants who need *both* robust fraud prevention and quantity management may need to explore if one can adequately cover the other's functions, or consider using both. Pareto is likely the slightly better choice if ease of setup is a high priority given the 'no code required' claim.
