Cartly Abandoned Cart Recovery vs PushBot: Web Push Notificationfor Shopify (2026)
Cartly Abandoned Cart Recovery and PushBot: Web Push Notification both aim to help Shopify merchants recover lost sales through abandoned cart and checkout recovery. However, their approaches and overall feature sets differ significantly. Cartly focuses on a broader suite of email marketing tools, including email pop-ups for list building, automated email campaigns for order follow-up and win-back, and even incorporates gamification with a Spin-a-sale wheel. PushBot, on the other hand, is laser-focused on web push notifications for various stages of the sales funnel, emphasizing targeted messaging and customer segmentation to improve engagement and conversion rates. Cartly appears positioned towards merchants seeking a comprehensive email marketing and automation solution to nurture customer relationships beyond just abandoned cart recovery. Its strengths lie in its diverse feature set covering various aspects of the customer lifecycle. PushBot caters to merchants specifically interested in leveraging the immediacy and reach of web push notifications, emphasizing targeted messaging and customer segmentation. PushBot's advantage is its ability to reach customers even when they aren't actively browsing the website, potentially offering quicker recovery of abandoned carts compared to email alone.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a holistic email marketing solution with features like order follow-up and win-back campaigns, alongside abandoned cart recovery, Cartly Abandoned Cart Recovery is likely the better choice. Its higher rating and significantly more reviews suggest greater overall user satisfaction. However, if the primary goal is to leverage the immediacy of web push notifications for abandoned cart recovery and targeted customer engagement, PushBot: Web Push Notification is a solid option. Consider PushBot if email marketing is already handled and the focus is on a quicker, more direct communication channel.
Given Cartly's broader feature set, higher rating, and greater number of reviews, it represents a more complete solution for most merchants. PushBot is best suited for merchants with existing email marketing strategies who want to supplement them with targeted push notifications.
