CartSaver: Persistent Cart vs Wholesale Simplifiedfor Shopify (2026)
CartSaver: Persistent Cart and Wholesale Simplified, while both listed under the 'Customer Loyalty' category, cater to vastly different Shopify merchant needs. CartSaver focuses on enhancing the individual customer experience by preventing cart abandonment and ensuring seamless transitions across devices, primarily targeting B2C businesses looking to improve conversion rates and reduce customer frustration. It aims to increase revenue by retaining customers' unsaved carts. In contrast, Wholesale Simplified addresses the needs of merchants engaged in B2B sales or those looking to offer wholesale pricing tiers. It provides tools for managing customer-specific discounts and pricing rules, designed to attract and retain wholesale buyers and maximize sales through flexible promotions and tiered pricing. The key distinction lies in their target audience and value proposition. CartSaver is positioned as a simple, user-friendly solution to a common e-commerce problem, aiming to boost conversion rates through improved cart persistence. Wholesale Simplified, on the other hand, is a more complex application geared towards businesses with wholesale operations, offering advanced pricing and discount management features to cater to B2B customers. The zero customer reviews for CartSaver create a significant disadvantage compared to Wholesale Simplified. A merchant considering customer loyalty programs will want to examine these key differences to determine which app best meets their specific business model and requirements.

Our Verdict
For B2C merchants primarily concerned with improving conversion rates and providing a seamless shopping experience for individual customers across devices, CartSaver: Persistent Cart might seem appealing. However, the complete lack of reviews raises serious concerns. Wholesale Simplified, with its high rating and established user base, is the clear choice for merchants engaged in B2B sales or looking to implement wholesale pricing strategies. The group-based pricing and discount rule management features make it well-suited for managing complex wholesale relationships. Given the zero user feedback for CartSaver, Wholesale Simplified is the far more trustworthy option, even for a B2C store looking to segment customers for loyalty discounts.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the features, CartSaver is likely simpler to set up. Wholesale Simplified, with its discount rule management, likely requires more configuration.
Which app is better for a dropshipping store?
Neither app is specifically tailored for dropshipping, but CartSaver's focus on cart persistence could benefit dropshipping stores by retaining customers who might be researching products from multiple sources. Wholesale Simplified would only be applicable if the dropshipper also sold wholesale.
Can both apps be used together?
They technically could be installed together, but they address different areas of the customer experience and don't directly complement each other. The value of using both simultaneously is questionable unless a merchant has both B2C and B2B segments.
What are the limitations of CartSaver?
With no reviews and limited information, it's hard to say. Potential limitations include compatibility issues with certain themes or other apps, lack of advanced customization options beyond popup styling, and potential privacy concerns related to storing cart data.
Does Wholesale Simplified support tiered pricing?
The description mentions 'endless discount rules' and 'group-based pricing,' which strongly suggests the ability to create tiered pricing structures based on customer groups and purchase volume.
