Carty: Add To Cart Button and Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero both operate within the Shopify checkout ecosystem but address distinctly different aspects of the customer journey. Our Verdict
Choosing between Carty and Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs and pain points. If the primary goal is to accelerate the purchasing process and reduce friction in adding products to the cart, Carty is the better option. It's suitable for stores where customers frequently add items to their cart from collection or search pages.
However, if the merchant is experiencing high cart abandonment rates at the payment stage or needs to cater to diverse customer preferences regarding payment methods, Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero is the more appropriate choice. Its ability to customize the payment experience can significantly impact conversion rates by providing a cleaner and more relevant payment interface. It's worth noting that both apps can be used together to address different aspects of the checkout funnel, however, if only one can be chosen, the choice should depend on which is higher priority.
