Casa Subscriptions App vs Modern Dropshipfor Shopify (2026)
Casa Subscriptions App and Modern Dropship serve fundamentally different needs for Shopify merchants. Casa Subscriptions App focuses on enabling merchants to offer subscription services for their existing products, maximizing revenue through recurring payments, bundles, and memberships. Its strength lies in its customization options, payment failure management, and order tracking. The app particularly appeals to merchants already selling products and seeking to add a subscription model to their business, especially those requiring personalized solutions. Modern Dropship, on the other hand, is a dropshipping platform that helps retailers source, onboard, and transact with suppliers. Powered by Carro, it automates inventory, orders, and fulfillment. This app is aimed at retailers looking to expand their product catalog and categories without holding inventory. Modern Dropship highlights ease of onboarding new brands (including integrations with major e-commerce platforms and CSV/EDI support) and providing vendor support. Therefore, it's a fit for businesses wanting to integrate dropshipping into their operations or quickly add new products from external vendors.

Our Verdict
The choice between Casa Subscriptions App and Modern Dropship depends entirely on the merchant's business model and goals. If a merchant already has products and wants to offer subscription options to increase recurring revenue and customer loyalty, Casa Subscriptions App is the superior choice. Its focus on customization and subscription management provides the tools needed to tailor the subscription experience.
However, if a merchant is looking to expand their product catalog quickly without managing inventory, Modern Dropship is the better option. Its dropshipping automation and focus on onboarding new brands make it easier to integrate a wider range of products into their store. Merchants who want to add new brands and categories without the hassle of managing inventory should strongly consider Modern Dropship.
