Cashify COD Order Confirmation vs Progus COD (Cash on Delivery)for Shopify (2026)
Cashify COD Order Confirmation and Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) both address challenges with Cash on Delivery orders, but they approach the problem from different angles. Cashify focuses on mitigating risks associated with fake or unwanted COD orders through verification processes like IVR calls, OTP, and SMS. It aims to reduce logistics costs and improve order accuracy by confirming customer intent. Progus COD, on the other hand, prioritizes increasing COD sales and conversion rates by streamlining the ordering process with a 1-Click COD Order Form and providing granular control over COD availability based on various parameters like location, customer tags, and order value. Progus seems to target merchants seeking to optimize and encourage COD sales through simplified ordering and strategic visibility control. Cashify is likely suited for merchants facing significant issues with fraudulent or unconfirmed COD orders impacting their bottom line. The key difference lies in their core focus: Cashify emphasizes order verification and risk mitigation, while Progus focuses on boosting conversions and providing flexible COD options. The small number of reviews on Progus makes it difficult to fully ascertain its reliability, however.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with a high volume of fake or unconfirmed COD orders that significantly impact logistics and revenue, Cashify COD Order Confirmation is a better choice. Its verification features aim to directly address this problem. However, the lower rating should be considered. Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) is more appropriate for merchants who want to maximize COD sales and offer more flexible COD options to customers. It simplifies the ordering process and gives merchants granular control over who can use COD.
The small number of reviews for Progus, despite its perfect rating, means that the app's long-term reliability and performance are less certain than Cashify's. Merchants considering Progus should proceed with caution and monitor the app's performance closely after installation. Given its established user base (though smaller) and focus on a specific problem, Cashify provides more immediate, direct help for fraud mitigation, and may be the better short term pick, pending more user reviews for Progus.
